Ozark discusses the possibility of playing youth baseball and softball

Ozark, Ala.—Under Governor Kay Ivey’s “latest” guidelines, athletic practices can get underway next Monday on June first.

Athletic competition can start two weeks later, June 15th.

Ozark parks and recreation director steve Sherrill is seeking input from city league baseball and softball
coaches concerning what they envision as a “shortened season” due to COVID-19.

With the season starting “late”, many parents’ have vacations already set.
A lot of details need to be worked out.
