Opp, Ala(WDHN)–Thousands of folks watching right now are certainly hoping there will be a high school football season.
Today, I caught up with a successful Opp High Coach Brent Hill who is wondering like everyone else what’s going to happen later this summer.
Following a “winless” 2018 season, the Opp Bobcats’ came back in 2019 making it to the playoffs’ in the very
“tough” Class 3A, Region 2. With a group of talented juniors and seniors returning, Coach Hill’s Bobcats
are expected to be a top region contender.
Coach Hill says “we’re in uncharted waters and we’re trying to find out what to do.”
Opp News sports writer Tripp Norris says “it’s a bizarre time when spring sports were canceled last month due to
the pandemic and hopefully they will be a sense of normalcy this Fall when it comes to the high school football season.”
Although we talked with Coach Hill. This same uncertainty” about the 2020 season can be found
on any high school or college campus across America.
