Northside Methodist Academy has two new basketball head coaches

Dothan, Ala. (WDHN)—This week, Northside Methodist Academy’s new Athletic Director Mike Mordecai,
a former major league baseball player announced two important additions to
Knights’ sports programs.

The school hired former Troy basketball “Great” Lonnie Cochran as its
new boy’s basketball coach. He replaces former Coach Richie Anderson, who
“retired” following the past season.

The Knight’s girl’s basketball team will be placed under the direction of long time area
Coach Ray Stinson. Mordecai says both men epitomize “fine Christian qualities” as well.

This Fall, Northside Methodist Academy will become a member of the Alabama High School Athletic Association,
which is expected to create
A “larger” fan base.
