Ozark, Ala. (WDHN)—At Thursday night’s Ozark City School Board meeting, the board voted to “hire” a familiar name in the
wiregrass as Carroll High’s new boy’s basketball coach.

Less than a month after “resigning” as head boy’s basketball coach at Headland,
Mike Henry is coming to take over the reins’ of the eagles.

The board unanimously followed Superintendent Dr. Rick McInturff’s recommendation to
bring in Henry to be a full-time teacher and coach.

Besides Headland, Henry has also coached at Ashford and Eufaula.
He’ll replace one of the state’s all-time winningest coaches, Raymond White, who worked
part-time at Carroll.
