A sunny, beautiful morning playing golf on the Eagle Springs Golf Course in DeFuniak Springs.

To ensure six-foot social distancing, no more than one player can ride in a golf cart. Golfers must maintain the six-foot distance
on the fairways.

Course manager Shane Supple says,”six-foot social distancing and steralizing all the golf carts. Making sure no more than several gather in one place at the club house. I think we’ve done a pretty good job.”

For the golfers, they say nothing can be healthier than being in the fresh air on the course. Santa Rosa Beach resident Larry Cook says” it beats being cooped inside with others’
who may carry the coronavirus.”

The golf course management says playing the game is a great exercise, especially for seniors. But, they respect
Governor Ron DeSantis’ “stay-at-home” order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will close. They hope to reopen when the “Stay-at-home” order
Is lifted.
