Carroll High School looks for new boy’s basketball coach

Ozark, Ala. (WDHN)—This week, “big news” came out of Ozark concerning the future course of Carroll High Boy’s basketball team.

Ozark City School Superintendent, Dr. Rick Mcinturf, tells WDHN Sports that Wiregrass Sports Hall of Fame Coach
Raymond White’s contract will not be extended. At this time, the district is advertising the Eagle’s vacancy.

Dr. Mcinturf says not extending the contract has “nothing” to do with wins and losses.
Coach White was not a full-time
employee, and the superintendent says that’s what he’s looking for.

The new head man must be a “full-time teacher, and then a coach”.

Dr. Mcinturf says he’s already received interest in the job from several highly qualified individuals.
