Ashford trounced Cottonwood 90-62. A trio of Yellow Jackets scored 70 points.
Tuesday
The Geneva Panthers defeated the Daleville Warhawks 26-22.
Daleville Warhawks defeated the Geneva Panthers 65-52.
GIRLS
Monday
Cottonwood defeated Ashford 40-39. Willow Brumfield grabbed an offensive rebound and scored to give the Bears the win.
Abbeville defeated Wicksburg 43-39.
Tuesday
The Geneva Panthers defeated the Daleville Warhawks’ 45-29.
The Geneva County Bulldogs defeated the Samson Tigers 53-23. Karoline Striplin led the way with 22 points, 10 blocks and four rebounds.
Over the last decade, Geneva County and Samson have dominated Class 2A in Alabama.
