Jason Wambles and his Tigers looking to come out stronger despite tough schedule

12 miles west of Geneva on Highway 52 is the small town of Samson.

Head coach Jason Wambles is in his second season as Tigers’ head man. The former Kinston coach is working to instill a sense of confidence and strength.

Last year, his club went a very respectable 4-6. He wants his players to take pride in their team and their community.

“I think we have a chance if we stay healthy. We have four games against some pretty good opponents like Luverne, Highland Home,
New Brockton. They have good coaches too which makes it even harder,” Wambles said.

A week from Friday, the Tigers will be on the road in Hartford to take on the Geneva County in a non-region contest.
