DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Houston Academy Raiders senior catcher Don Williams signed a letter of intent to the next level.
At least for his first two years, Williams will play close to home at Wallace College. As a junior, he batted an amazing .563 average for the Raiders.
“When I go the offer from wallace I knew that’s where I want to go so I committed,” Williams said.
Williams says Wallace coach Mackey Sasser is a big reason why he signed with the Govs. Sasser was a catcher for several clubs in the majors before taking over Wallace baseball.
