The Headland Rams hosted the Northview Cougars Tuesday night.
Headland led the game 1-0 the first half. In the second half, the Cougars tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Wolesky St. Jean. The game ended in a tie. Wolesky was excited about the game-tying goal, and the Headland coaching staff discussed the inaugural season of soccer.
“My team gave me a great ball, and I took the opportunity and took it,” Wolesky St. Jean said.
“We have such a good following of fans and a set of great parents.” Coach Wanda Richards said.
The Headland boys and girls plan to play at the varsity level next year.
