Graden Lomax finishes first in the 10-and-under bracket


DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Graden Lomax, of Lutz, Florida and Luke Parsons, of Salley, South Carolina in the ten-and-under battle for the lead throughout the last two days.

On the eighteenth hole, Graden defeated Parsons by one stroke. Following their battle, the top ten finishers would take part in the trophy presentation. For Graden, it was the first time he took part in one of the world’s top junior golf events.

“It’s awesome. To finish this high and top 5 players can come back next year and play best you can.

Graden finished the two rounds three-under par with a total score of 67. Luke Parson had a 68, and there was a two-way tie for third-place between Frisco, Texas resident Carson Treatwell, and Palm Beach Garden’s Andrew Tsar.
