Last spring, the G.W. Long baseball team performed a three-peat. The rebels have won three consecutive state titles.
Pitcher and utility infielder Parker Collier is a big part of that success. Parker signed a collegiate letter of intent to play the 2020-2021 season for Chattahoochee Valley State in Phenix city.
Parker says he received nearly two dozen scholarship offers, but his older brother is part of the team. It just seems like the right decision.
“I feel with my brother, several of my former team mates, I feel Chatt is a player that will make me a better player,” Collier said.
With his senior season this spring, Parker says his goal is to have G.W. Long win another title this year.
