Former Enterprise Wildcat, current NFL player holds football camp

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Former Enterprise Wildcat and current Carolina Panther TJ Barnes came home to hold his second football camp Saturday for the young aspired football players.

The camp was free and open to all ages. The 62 attendees went through a number of offensive and defensive drills similar to the NFL Combine drills and they were provided lunch.

Barnes hoped the kids were able to learn a thing or two from the hometown pro, however, he wanted them to have fun.

“Really just to have fun and appreciate someone from the town who made it. (I want them to think) He’s coming back to give his time, if he can make it and stay out of trouble, then I can do it too,” Barnes said.

Barnes and his team are looking forward to holding another camp next year along with another NFL pro.
