FOOTBALL: Northside Methodist looking to bounce back after signs from last season

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — In Jason Hurst’s first season as the Knights coach, they went 4-7 which was an improvement from being winless at 0-10 in 20-17.

Coach Hurst believes his team now knows what to expect this year.

“We were 4-7 last year, 1-5 the first half of the year. Lost by one point in three of those games and turned it around in the second half. We have a lot of momentum,” Hurst said.

The Knights open their 2019 campaign at home against Edgewood Academy. Northside Methodist plays its home games on the old Ashford Academy football field.
