ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Sophomore catcher Katie Dennis signed a letter of intent to play her final two years at Peru State College in Nebraska.
In her freshman season, Katie batted .394, 56 hits, eight homers, and 30 RBI’s.
The Enterprise native says she chose Peru State because of its academic reputation and it’s outside the Wiregrass and Alabama.
“It’s actually an old school but they have renovated it. I met the girls, my future teammates and they’re very sweet. We got along very well,” Dennis said.
Next fall, Katie will transfer to Peru State and plans to play for the Bobcats beginning in 2020-21.
