ENTERPRISE, Ala (WDHN) — Back in July, Florida made the move to push back their football season by two weeks, which took away Enterprise’s opening game of the year against Miami Somerset Academy.
Today, according to the Southeast Sun, the Wildcats have found a replacement for their tenth game.
Enterprise will host the Early County Bobcats (GA) on September 25th, which had previously been an open slot on their schedule.
Rick Darlington’s Wildcats will now open the season on August 28th when they play Carver high from Montgomery.
Enterprise is set to round up their season against Navarre, which is a Florida school on October 30th, and Darlington told the Sun that as of now that game is still on.
However, that plan can change if Florida decides to cancel or change their plans for the season next week.
If they cannot play that game, Darlington says it will simply be an open week on the schedule.
