ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — The Enterprise City School board met Tuesday evening.
The board discussed possibly playing on artificial turf at Wildcat Stadium.
District Athletic Director, Trent Trawick believes the grass sees high activity during the school year. The Wildcat Varsity, JV and Junior High teams currently play there. In the spring, the boys and girls soccer team play there as well.
Officials will look into the possibility of going artificial. According to Trawick, no decision has been made.
“We have graduation and soccer on it. There’s been no vote on it, only discussion on it and no estimate on cost have been brought up on it,” Trawick said.
Trawick said there’s no time table regarding a decision on whether to maintain natural grass or go to artificial turf at Wildcat Stadium.
