ELBA, Ala. (WDHN) — The Elba school board met to discuss a couple of topics on the table Tuesday night, but the big news was naming the next Tigers football coach. The board hired Marc Sieving for the job.
Coach Sieving has 21 years of coaching experience. He’ll be leaving the head coaching post at Dauphin Junior High and before that he was with the Enterprise High School coaching staff.
Sieving was chosen out of 49 applicants and he knew Elba was the place for him.
“Well ya know, the history and the tradition this place got is second to none. They won over 100 football games over the past 10 years and they win state championships. This is something I wanted to be apart of,” Sieving said.
Sieving says he can’t wait to meet and get to work with the guys. His first day of work will start in March before spring practice begins.
