Construction has gotten underway on a track and tennis complex at Enterprise High School. Currently, students involved in those sports have to go off-campus to compete.
In addition to these two new facilities, separate bids will be accepted for a concession. School athletic director Trent Trawick says it’s important from a safety point to keep students on-campus, and not have them travel throughout the city in order to compete.
Eventually, city officials hope to build a baseball and softball complex on the Wildcat campus as well. Currently, their games are played at Donaldson Park off heavily-traveled Highway 167 north.
