DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Boy Wolves played their first home game on Thursday night.
In a non-conference contest, the Wolves trailed the Bulldogs by a point with less than two minutes in the game. That’s when Jansky Fleming’s team went on a scoring barrage to lead the Wolves to a victory over Opelika, 74-71.
“I thought it was pretty good that it was our kid’s first home game of the season. I told them this is a marathon, it’s not a sprint. The trophy is not awarded in November,” Flemming said.
