Ashford coach Chris Littleton looking to have a bright year; second-year coach

ASHFORD, Ala. (WDHN) — Coach Chris Littleton is entering his second season at the helm of the Ashford Yellow Jackets.

Last year, the former Samson coach guided Ashford to 4-6 which is a large improvement to the 1-9 record of 2017. After his initial year as a yellow jacket, Coach Littleton said his players know what’s expected of them.

“I think in year two, we’ll put on an offense that most people will enjoy watching. Sometimes on the field, we’ll have three guys that can all throw the football,” Littleton said.

The Yellow Jackets open their season August 23 at home in W.H Brown Field against Rehobeth. These two Houston County Schools have one of the “Oldest” annual football rivalries in the Wiregrass.
