The AAU Baseball World Series is winding-up in the Wiregrass.
An elimination game between the 15-and-under Ozark team took on the Dothan Dragons. The Dragons had a 7-2 lead into the fifth inning.
Around the fifth inning, Thunderstorms arrived over Eagle Stadium caused a delay. For AAU officials, they have been quite impressed with the hospitality of folks in both Dothan and Ozark. This marks the first time the AAU World Series has been held in the Wiregrass.
“I am very pleased with the hospitality of the Dothan Leisure Services and the hospitality of the people of Ozark,” Tom Milner said.
The Dragons would eventually win 7-3. The Dragons will play the 15-and-under Wiregrass Cards’ at 12:30 Wednesday afternoon at Eagle Stadium for the championship contest in that division.
