AAU World Series coming to the Wiregrass

With the school year quickly drawing  to a close, Wiregrass Cardinals baseball coach
Sammy Frichter has been holding tryouts at Northcutt Field.

Coach Frichter oversees a 13-to-15-year-old squad, 16-to-17-year-old, and a squad made of players up to 19-years-old.

For the first time ever this July, the AAU World Series will not be held down in Vero Beach, Florida. Instead, some 50 teams from across the nation will be playing at various locations in Dothan, Ozark, and Troy.

Once the school year ends, Coach Frichter’s Wiregrass Cards squads will prepare in earnest for the 2019 summer season.
