DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — This election, voter turnout is expected to be exceptionally high, and county officials expect it to be even bigger than the 2008 presidential election.
Houston County Probate Judge Patrick Davenport said they’re prepared for a large number of voters and look forward to seeing everyone.
He said to pack your patience when you head to the polls.
The best times to go is mid-morning and mid-afternoon in order to beat the early morning and lunch rush.
“I think we can anticipate a large voter turnout I think those numbers could exceed and likely to exceed the 2008 voter turnout numbers.”
Davenport says they will be following cdc guidelines.
