DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Wiregrass Humane Society is full and in need of help.
Volunteers believe it’s due to animals that were transported to Dothan from Bay County when it looked like Hurricane Dorian was headed their way. They are in need of adoptions, fosters, volunteers, and of course, donations.
“They did an evacuation from Bay County just in case it was to hit Florida. We need adoptions and volunteers and donations,” Kayla Chambers said. “Just come in and help us, make sure everything stays clean, and the animals are all fed.”
