DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Monday evening members of Wiregrass Church gathered outside Southeast Health and held what they call their “Park and Pray” event.
Members remained socially-distanced inside their cars as they prayed and played worship music outside the hospital.
“We’re praying for the staff of the hospitals, we’re praying for the patients to be healed to get better,” said Wiregrass Church Director of Adult Ministries Brett Hemphill. “We’re praying for the families to be strong during this time when their loved ones are in here. So we are praying that people see that there’s still hope.”
Wiregrass Church visited Flowers Hospital to park and pray there as well.
