DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Wiregrass Blues Society partnered with Dothan City Schools to bring in a little taste of the blues for over 1,000 students.

Blues artist Teeny Tucker, who will be the headlining act at the Wiregrass Blues Festival in April, put on a show to help introduce and encourage students to learn and appreciate musical talents.

In addition to the show, the Wiregrass Blues Society also presented superintendent Phyllis Edwards with a $3,000 check to go toward music-related scholarships.
