DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) – A cold front is knocking at Alabama’s door this morning but it will stall out and lift to the north as a warm front. A few Isolated showers are possible but the best chance of those will be in more central Alabama.
Highs will soar into the 80s for everyone across the region. Lows will linger in the low to mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies.
Not much changes for Saturday. Highs will warm into the low to mid 80s. Random showers possible but many stay dry.
Sunday is the day to watch closely. A robust system will develop to our west and push through the area bringing widespread rain and storms. Some of those storms could turn severe. The primary risk is damaging winds with the possibility of tornadoes. Go ahead and have a plan in place now and have multiple ways to receive alerts.
