Two New Brockton High students sent home after showing COVID-19 symptoms

COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Two high school students were sent home Wednesday after showing COVID-19 like symptoms, according to a press release by Superintendent Kevin Killingsworth.

In addition, 30 students who are non-symptomatic were sent home due to possibly being exposed to a COVID-19 case.

The Coffee County School System has a COVID-19 response plan that has been implemented for the school year and they will continue to monitor the situation and remain in contact with state and local public health agencies.
