DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Multiple law enforcement agencies are on the hunt for a suspect who has allegedly stolen a storm response trailer.

Police attempted to stop the suspect on John D. Odom Road around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday when he took off. The suspect eventually pulled behind a home on Riveredge Parkway and left the trailer, property of Covenant United Methodist Church, behind.

His last reported location so far was around Providence Christian School on Murphy Mill Road.

The suspect is described as a white man wearing blue jeans and a dark shirt covered in mud. He is believed to be armed. Law enforcement is searching the area and armed with long guns. Helicopters are also being used for aerial surveillance of the manhunt area.
