DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Another parent has come forward with a testimony of student mistreatment, telling WDHN News that her child was assaulted by a teacher at Honeysuckle Middle School.
Sykenne Holmes said her child was pinched so hard by his teacher that it left painful red marks on his arm. The mother says she contacted the school to get some answers, but she was told that her son was never touched by the teacher.
“I keep asking, ‘Why was he being pinched?'” she said. “They say that the teacher said that she never pinched him, and I’m like, every time you turn around there’s something, and they just keep pushing everything under the rug. Anything that will make me hush, that’s just what they want to go with.”
Holmes said this isn’t the first time she has had a run-in with school officials and that she plans to push the case further.
