Bicycle rider seriously injured in crash; Dothan police now investigating

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Police Department is looking into a Sunday night crash that left one person seriously injured.

According to a press release, the crash happened around 8:35 p.m. Sunday on the 2600 block of Flynn Road.

Upon responding, police learned that a bicycle rider was heading west when a car hit the cyclist from behind and left the scene of the crash. The cyclist ended up severely injured as a result of the ordeal.
