ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Since the beginning of school last Thursday, Superintendent Greg Faught confirmed to WDHN that three Enterprise City School students have tested positive for COVID-19 — two high school students and one junior high student.

On Tuesday, Faught told us nearly 40 students have been sent home due to being within six feet of the three students for more than 15 minutes or they showed other symptoms.

A number of students who were not showing any signs of the virus were sent home due to the ADPH protocol.

Enterprise City Schools was the first system in our area to start the new school year.
