PINCKARD, Ala. (WDHN) — Students at South Dale Middle School were eager to learn about the world of broadcast journalism Tuesday.
WDHN’s morning crew visited the students to share knowledge about journalism. Students learned a lot from professionals while having fun during the process.
The school’s tv program believed having professionals in the building Tuesday was essential for the students.
“I believe that WDHN does a great job in journalism. We have partnered with them for four years now and for students to see professionals acting in the field makes a drastic difference. Students can see who they aspire to be and it makes a huge difference,” said Matt Davis, the SDSN Channel 16 TV Director.
The school’s TV program hopes to continue learning by visiting Washington D.C. to learn from press outlets later this year.
