Sample the area’s finest tomatoes at the 31st Annual Slocomb Tomato Festival


For 31 years, Slocomb has been hailed as the “Tomato Capital of the World” and in just a few days, people from all over the Wiregrass will have an opportunity to sample and see firsthand why the small Geneva city has been honored with that name. 

31st Annual Slocomb Tomato Festival Schedule of Events

Wednesday, June 12:

6 pm: City Wide Prayer Service – First Baptist Church, Slocomb 

Friday, June 21:

6 pm: Farmers’ Dinner – By invitation only 

6 pm: Festival Kickoff at Centennial Park (performance by Faith McKenzy)

7:30 pm: Performance by Chad Street 

Saturday, June 22:

8:30 am: Parade Line up at Slocomb High Football Field 

9 am: Festival Opens at Centennial Park

10 am: Parade Begins 

10:45 am: Parade ends 

11 am: Welcome by Slocomb Mayor Rob Hinson

12 pm: Brian Carroll performs 

2 pm: Brooke Brown sings 

4 pm: Goat Hill String Band performs  

6 pm: The Lacs performs 

8 pm: Restless Heart performs 

Armband Information:

Adults: $10 

Ages 6 thru 12: $5

Children ages 5 and under are free 

  • All concert times are approximate. 
  • Remember to bring your lawn chairs 
  • No alcohol or coolers permitted 
  • Kids Zone to include Hot Air Balloon Rides
