HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The Rehobeth Volunteer Fire Department could use more volunteers. In addition, the department is also in need of new equipment.
As of now, the department has been making do with what they have with certain pieces of equipment at least 20 years old. The department has been constantly filing for grants and is need of firefighter turnout gear, education gear, and monitors for ambulances.
“The monitors we have now in February of 2021 I do believe they will be out of service we cant use em. We’ll have to buy three new monitors and they are high. They are about $30,000 apiece.
