Quilt show takes place at Landmark Park

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Today, tomorrow, and Sunday, Landmark Park will have a quilt show.

The theme of the event is Quilts in Alabama for 200 years.

The event will have over 100 antique quilts and contemporary quilts displayed in the park’s activity barn.

The quilts will be judged, and prizes will be given to the best quilts. There are 12 total categories for the quilts.

“The quilt show is still gonna be open and on display,” Laura Stakelum said. “It opens Friday from 1-4, Saturday from 10-4, and then Sunday from 1-4. It will be general regular gate admission.”

The best of show quilt will be given $100 and first place in each category will receive $50.
