BREAKING: Lottery bill passes House Committee

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDHN) – The House Economic Development and Tourism Committee passed a paper-only lottery bill in a 6 to 2 vote Wednesday.

Seventy-five percent will go to the General Fund and 25 percent goes to education.

Next, the bill heads to the House floor for consideration.
