EUFAULA, Ala. (WDHN) — Eufaula police are searching for a suspect in a drive-by shooting on Clayton Highway.

The police department wrote that around 9:45 p.m. Sunday, the victim was driving east on Clayton Highway when they found they were being followed by an “erratic” Dodge pickup truck.

The victim tried to make way for the truck by slowing down multiple times, but the truck would not pass.

As the two drivers reached the intersection of Clayton and Eufaula Avenue, the truck driver pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle and began firing an unknown weapon.

The victim’s vehicle was hit seven times, but none of the gunshots caused any injuries.

Police ask those with information on what happened to call the Criminal Investigations Division at 334-687-1200 or their anonymous tip line at 334-687-710.
