AUBURN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Auburn Police Department has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a person in interest in Aniah Blanchard’s disappearance.
Ibraheem Yazeed, 30, of Montgomery has been charged with first-degree kidnapping. As of now, the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task force along with other agencies are actively searching for Yazeed who is out on bond from past charges of kidnapping and attempted murder.
Evidence from the investigation determined Yazeed was at the same location Blanchard was seen, according to the Auburn Police Department. Authorities believe he was involved in taking Aniah against her will.
Additional charges and arrests are expected to come against Yazeed in the case.
There is a $105,000 reward for information on Blanchard’s whereabouts.
