We have just received a call from Wiregrass Electric Cooperative detailing their repair plans following the storm.
Brad Kimbro, chief operating officer, told us that Wiregrass Electric has brought in 120 additional men from other co-ops in the state in preparation for the storm, giving them a total workforce of 180 men.
Kimbro also said that power outages may last as long as a few hours to a few days. Once the storm has passed enough for conditions to be said, the company will deploy crews to help restore power.
Wiregrass Electric's territory goes from Florala to the Georgia State Line.
