New TV Show “Alabama Upstarts” Airs This Saturday on WDHN


“Alabama Upstarts” is a new television show that will allow entrepreneurs from all across the state an opportunity to pitch their ideas to real investors. 

Similar to the popular hit show “Shark Tank”, “Alabama Upstarts” mission is to form a public and private partnership where hundreds of people will apply to be a part of this remarkable opportunity. 

Some entrepreneurs will get a deal from the investors and some will not, but each will be offered invaluable advice on how to further bring their dreams to fruition. 

Two shows will air in August 2018 and production for 26 shows in the late fall. Six shows will be filmed in Huntsville and Mobile. 

Airing in all five TV markets in Alabama, the show will only be aired in the Dothan market exclusively on WDHN News 18 on Saturday, August 18 at 6:30 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. 

Terry Duffie, owner of Scenic Productions in Dothan is one of the four judges of the show.
