School officials have declared New Brockton High clear of carbon monoxide following the scare last Thursday.
Four public agencies checked New Brockton High School over the weekend. It was also checked twice this morning with no levels of carbon monoxide produced.
After meeting with members of the Alabama State Fire Marshall’s Office and the Alabama Department of Public Health, Superintendent Kevin Killingsworth discussed all the steps taken to ensure the safety of the students. He, along with the agencies, decided that the school is safe for students and staff.
