DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Pumpkin season is in full effect and the First United Methodist Church in Dothan kicked off their annual pumpkin patch.
This year’s patch comes from New Mexico. The church will be selling the pumpkins until the end of October and the money that’s made from the sales will stay in the community.
Brad Price says this is a fun family event.
“We are open every day Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.,” Brad Price said. “We love for folks to come out and if they are going to buy some pumpkins we would love them to buy from us.”
All proceeds will go towards the youth ministry to assist with local groups in need.
