Mom unexpectedly goes into labor at Six Flags, delivers baby at water park

AUSTELL, Ga. (WIAT) - Childbirth was quite a ride for one mother who unexpectedly went into labor at a Six Flags theme park.

EMTs at the Six Flags Over Georgia rushed to Hurricane Harbor to help deliver Crusita's baby boy when she went into labor. Crusita was enjoying the water park with her daughter when her son Matthew made his grand entrance into the world.

In the park's 51-year history, baby Matthew is the second baby to be born at the park, marketing director Gene Petriello said in a statement.

To celebrate Matthew's arrival, the theme park granted him and Crusita with Diamond Elite Memberships to any Six Flags parks for the rest of their lives.
