DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Justice has been served for a fatal shooting victim after one of the men responsible for his death was sentenced 20 years for manslaughter.

In 2016, News 18 reported that Joshua Steven Nance and three other people were involved in Paxton Kennedy’s death.

Nance told jurors that he shot him accidentally when Kennedy’s truck door hit him in the arm during a shakedown, setting off the gun.

Next in line is Kennedy’s ex-girlfriend Dama Clark, who will be next to face trial on June 10.
