COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a case of theft from earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Elba man James C. Baker reported his utility trailer stolen from his home to the sheriff’s office. Eventually, the stolen trailer was found over by the Enterprise Walmart by the sheriff’s office, Enterprise Police Department, and Clayton Police Chief Jamie Williams.
Once it was recovered, authorities arrested and charged Eric Deon Kennedy of Eufaula with third-degree theft of property.
He was released from the Coffee County Jail on a $2,500 bond. The sheriff’s office is still investigating the case and has other charges pending.
