(WDHN) — Several Wiregrass cities and towns are planning to hold July 4th festivities.
Here’s a running list of scheduled July 4th events:
FRIDAY, JULY 3
Marianna: 10th annual Fireworks Celebration at MERE Complex on Caverns Road from 7-10 p.m. Individuals will be required to remain in their cars for the duration of the event.
New Brockton: 4th of July Weekend at Bama Slam
Rehobeth: Fireworks Show at Rehobeth True Value @ 9:00 p.m. Parking available starting at 7:30 p.m., restrooms provided
SATURDAY, JULY 4
Bainbridge: July 4th Drive In Fireworks Show at the Earle May Boat Basin. Parking lots will open to vehicle traffic at 9:00 p.m. Guests are asked to remain in their vehicle for the duration of the fireworks show.
Dothan:
- Fireworks at the Fairground @ 9:00 p.m. Gates open for parking at 7 p.m. (Individuals required to practice social distancing from vehicles)
- July 4th Celebration at Folklore; Food available starting at 11 a.m. Golden Hawk Release party and Mike VanDusen live @ 7 p.m.
Elba: 4th of July Fireworks at the old football field @ 9:00 p.m. (Individuals required to practice social distancing from vehicles)
Ft. Rucker: July 4 Celebration & Home Town Parade. Parade will go through the housing areas @ 5 p.m. Fireworks display @ 9:00 p.m. *Open to Dept. of Defense ID card holders only
Headland: Hot Toddy 10K in downtown Headland @ 7:00 a.m. Activities, games, and vendors will be in the square. Annual fireworks show at Douglas Park @ 8:30 p.m. (Social distancing required)
New Brockton: 4th of July Weekend at Bama Slam; Clay Walker @ 9:00 p.m.
