Enterprise, Ala. (WDHN)—Prior to Big Box stores, folks would go to their neighborhood mom and pop shops for clothing and
other essential items.
Yancey Parker’s first opened on College Street in Enterprise back in 1949.
Melissa and her husband, Addison, own the business.
Melissa’s parents, Yancey and Evelyn, started it 71-years-ago.
It’s now one of the oldest family-run men’s and women’s clothing stores in Alabama.
In the 1970’s, the business moved to its current site at the Westgate Plaza.
