Woman killed in early morning crash

COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — An early morning wreck in Coffee County killed a young woman on State Highway 125 after her car crashed into another vehicle.

Kandice Leigh Price, 22, of Louisville was driving on 125 when her Hyundai Accent collided with a Mitsubishi Gallant at the intersection, killing her right then and there.

The other woman, Amy Lynn Copeland, survived but is in serious condition while she receives treatment at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

Alabama state troopers are continuing to investigate what happened.
